About
I am a music student with 6+ years of playing experience, 2 years of teaching clarinet and my lessons are always patient and trying to understand what the student's goal is in the end, where they see themselves and we work towards that together. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and structured. I aim to make music theory easier to understand through clear explanations, practical examples and guided exercises tailored to each student's learning pace. Whether you are just starting your musical journey or preparing for music theory examinations, I hope to help you build confidence, strengthen your understanding and enjoy learning music.
Teaching approach
I use simple explanations, examples and fun exercises to make music theory easy to understand. I keep children engaged through interactive activities and quizzes. I track their progress through practice questions and regular revision, adjusting my lessons to suit their needs and I also keep a notebook with me for each student, noting down their last lessons progress.
Your first lesson
In the first lesson, I will assess the student's current music theory/clarinet knowledge through simple questions or exercises. Based on their strengths and weaknesses, I will create a personalised learning plan to help them improve at their own pace.
